I absolutley love creating dishes with the dehydrator.
It really is a good food game changer.
Let’s fire up the dehydrator and get to it!
Dive into the dehydrator life!
Living a plant-based lifestyle doesn't mean you have to eat salad all the time. You'll learn how to make dishes that pack a powerful punch of flavor and let you give in to your sweet tooth in a healthier way.
Keep the good stuff
When you cook at a low and slow temperature, your food maintains all the important enzymes and nutritional integrity that makes raw food preparation so amazing.
A big benefit of sweet treats like these is that you know what you're eating! With ingredients that you can pronounce and the absence of preservatives and unnecessary additives, you'll feel better knowing what's going inside your body.
What you need for this class
A solid love for sweetness.
A desire to discover dehydrated dishes.
A couple power tools.
Blender: A high powered blender like a Vitamix is an amazing addition to the raw kitchen. The personal sized nutritional bullets are an excellent alternative to a Vitamix. It works just as well, on a smaller scale.
Dehydrator: At The Healing Cuisine we prefer a square to round dehydrator. Square dehydrators have more room and we can make the items any shape that we like. Be sure that they have removable trays with removable screen to prevent your fruits and veggies from falling through. Be sure to have a dehydrator sheet for every dehydrator tray.
Dehydrator Sheets: These are important for many dehydrator recipes, especially items that are marinated or start out in a liquid form. When you order your dehydrator be sure to order the Teflon dehydrator sheets or purchase a roll out reusable non-stick baking sheet that you can cut to size.
If you don’t have any of these, but you’re looking to make changes to your life via what you eat, this is the perfect time to invest in these power tools.
