Nature provides us with incredible ways to nourish our bodies. It's a complete myth that we need anything outside of what the earth provides, and it's my passion to teach people the power of the plant!
Not only is fantastic to feel the effects of nature-powered, healing foods - but there's an extra layer of satisfaction when you understand exactly what you're putting in your body.
What you need for this class
A fascination for food.
A readiness to get raw.
A few power tools.
Blender: A high powered blender like a Vitamix is an amazing addition to the raw kitchen. The personal sized nutritional bullets are an excellent alternative to a Vitamix. It works just as well, on a smaller scale.
Food Processor: For me a food processor to me is an invaluable tool of the raw food trade. There are even mini versions available that work wonderfully for small batches
Spiralizer: This tool allows you to make creative meals quickly. They're inexpensive and give you many options to create different shapes and sizes with your food.
Mandolin: This can prove to be indispensable if you are serious about a raw food diet, as it
will help you save time and energy when julienning or making noodles such as fettuccine or lasagna. A Cheese Slicer, Potato Peeler or a good Grater will also do the trick.
